In 1976, a legend stepped onto the stage: In Marrakech, the YAMAHA XT 500 was presented for the very first time – the world’s first mass-produced enduro motorcycle. It marked the beginning of a new era in motorcycling, crowned by victories in the 1979 and 1980 Paris-Dakar Rally.

With our FANTIC Caballero 500 Superleggenda, we created a homage to the mother of all enduros: golden rims, simplicity, understated elegance, and the iconic black/red/white color scheme of the 1980s. The Superleggenda succeeds in bringing the spirit of the XT 500 back to the road 46 years later in a modern form—without falling victim to today’s obsession with comfort, connectivity, and infotainment.
