The fuse size must correspond to the cable cross-section of the connected devices. If the current carrying capacity of the connected cable cross-section is too low, an additional inline fuse must be used or a smaller fuse selected.

It should also be noted that the cable outlet of the fuse branch must be on the non-voltage-carrying side of the fuse slot. This ensures that the electronics connected via the fuse branch is correctly fused.
