This special screw can be used to quickly and easily create a mounting option where space is limited.

This solution is simple yet effective: for example, the special screw can be used as a replacement for an original M8 screw on the handlebar clamp so that holders for navigation devices, cameras or other accessories can be attached to the existing heavy-duty M3 thread.

The highly tempered M8 screw of strength class 12.9 with integrated M3 internal thread has a tensile strength that corresponds to the value of a standard screw of strength class 10.9. The tensile strength of a comparable screw with strength class 8.8 is exceeded.
