Model specific 12V connector plugs

The 12V connection plugs enable the simple and safe connection of electronic accessories directly to a factory-installed power source – for example, for navigation devices, onboard sockets, or the MOFESSOR chain oiler.

Many motorcycles come equipped from the factory with ignition-switched connectors that are ideal for such applications. These are also referred to as auxiliary power connections, ignition positive, terminal 15, or switched positive.

In automotive electronics, this connection refers to the positive terminal of the vehicle battery, which is switched via the ignition lock. It is therefore not permanently connected to the battery but only active when the ignition is turned on. This line is usually protected by a separate fuse.

• On KTM models, the ACC1 and ACC2 connections can be found, where ACC1 provides 12V permanent positive and ACC2 provides 12V switched positive. These connectors are designed as flat plugs and are compatible without additional adapters with the MOFESSOR chain oiler and CUMPAN cockpit assistant.
